A beautiful building , definitely worth a visit . Our visit was to see G4 which was a complete let down . Our seats were with no view , which as the ticket office said after was Our own fault as we hadn't took notice of the seating plan properly . Also as there was tv to watch the show on its a pity the sound wasn't insinc. with the picture . We left in the interval . I must add that although the show was rubbish the Minster is an amazing building
Went to see the night light festival. It was nice and warm inside, activities spread out to minimise waiting time and ease of access. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very friendly man holding a cup of tea who spoke very enthusiastically about the cathedral. The stained glass windows are great, and there is so much detail to see. We were fortunate that when we went to visit, the choir was practising with the organ playing, and it was amazing. It's definitely worth a visit. Free entry with card donations accepted.
We went to the Doncaster lights expecting something really seasonal as it was December and church. It wasn't at all festive but it was very good and only cost us a donation.
Beautiful building even on a chilly wet winters day
Quiet peaceful place to pray. I genuinely feel like I'm intruding though so if anyone from the group of people who regularly attending worship here are reading this please remember some people may be in need of spiritual guidance and hope that the big man is listening, don't look down on people and I shouldn't have had to ask if I could pray, God's house is for everyone 🙏 ❤
Another church/minster well worth visiting. Beautiful architecture and Windows. Full of history. Very helpful stewards on site. Close to bus station and not far from train station. Very close to Doncaster town centre
Very interesting history to the minster with good stained glass windows. Original church burnt down and was rebuilt in the late 1800's in 4 years. Queen Victoria gave the church £100 towards the stained glass windows.
